Kitchens for good volunteer hub. The main task of the volunteer is to pick up produce at or our donation collections sites located in albany, troy, delmar, and schenectady to deliver to emergency food providers on one of our various routes. Every volunteer experience is a little different. Volunteers must be 18 years or older to volunteer in our kitchen. Kitchens for good breaks the cycles of food waste, poverty and hunger through innovative programs in workforce training, healthy food production, and social enterprise.

Prepare, portion, and package food.
We also have saturday opportunities which fill up quickly. All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. From soup kitchens to gift making, you can make a difference with one of the organizations on this list.
